My name is Vikas Sir, I am a resident of Bihar Darbhanga. I want to know from you that I want to give Bihar Public Service Commission exam and also want to prepare for IAS, can both be prepared together?
VIKAS (BIHAR)
Director
Dear Vikas, it is a good thing that you want to give both the exams, but you should know that even though there is some similarity in both the exams, there are many different things. That’s why my suggestion to you is that you should concentrate on any one exam only.
General Studies definitely looks similar but rest of the subjects are not same.
Here I would like to suggest you to first give IAS exam and prepare for it. If you work hard then you will get selected in IAS exam itself. You will not have to give Bihar PCS exam if you are very hard. do well and unfortunately If you are not selected in IAS then you will not have to work very hard for Bihar exam.
