Champai Soren is a big politician of the country. He has had a deep connection with the politics of Bihar and Jharkhand, he has contributed a lot to the Jharkhand movement. He fought along with Shibu Soren to make Jharkhand a separate state.

Champai Soren was born in 1956 in Saraikela in the then Bihar, which is currently in the state of Jharkhand. He is known as a big leader of the tribes in Central India, his father Shrimal Soren was a farmer.

Political life

Champai Soren has been an MLA seven times. He first became an MLA in 1991. He was the Transport Tribal and Backward Classes Cabinet Minister in the Jharkhand government. Champai Soren was made the Chief Minister of Jharkhand on 2 February 2024 and he remained the Chief Minister of Jharkhand till 3 July 2024. He took over the post of Chief Minister of Jharkhand when Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren had to go to jail on the charge of ad. He became the seventh Chief Minister of Jharkhand.

Currently Champai Soren is in the news because the reason for being in the news is that he has been suddenly removed from the post of Chief Minister on 3 July 2024, although it was decided at the time of Hemant Soren going to jail that Champai Soren will remain the Chief Minister as long as Hemant Soren is in jail. But still there is anger and sadness among the supporters of Champai Soren that he should not be removed from the post of Chief Minister in such a hurry.

If social media and media are to be believed, Champai Soren is leaving Hemant Soren and he is joining the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Bharatiya Janata Party, but Hemant Soren has clearly said in a statement to the media that he is still with Hemant Soren and he is not going to join any party, yes there is one more thing, he has talked about retiring from his political life but he has not decided on it yet.
