Indian coastal States
India has a long coastline of approximately 7,517 kilometers. There are nine coastal states in India which are as follows:
- Gujarat
- Maharashtra
- Goa
- Karnataka
- Kerala
- Tamil Nadu
- Andhra Pradesh
- Odisha
- West Bengal
These states have a diverse culture and offer a variety of experiences to tourists. Some of the popular tourist destinations in these coastal states are Goa beaches, Kerala backwaters, Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu, the Konkan coast in Maharashtra, and the beaches of Puri in Odisha. The coastal states are also known for their seafood cuisine, which is a must-try for seafood lovers.
