The weather department has recently issued a red alert in Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat due to heavy rains. Mumbai in Maharashtra is receiving the most rainfall and due to this rain, life in Mumbai has become chaotic, and this rain is proving to be fatal. On the return of monsoon, heavy rains occur in many cities, especially in coastal cities. Due to which the city comes into a flood-like situation. On the return of monsoon, it rains in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat, and almost the entire India receives rain in the last week of September.

If the drainage system is good when there is heavy rain, then there will be no water logging on the roads or other public places and such a situation will not arise.

The return of monsoon or rainfall is a natural phenomenon and it can neither be stopped nor reduced, but to ensure that rain does not become fatal at any place, rain water should be arranged in such a way that when it rains, it can easily flow out through drains or any other means and there is no situation of water logging. The administration needs to pay special attention to this and at the same time, local bodies also need to work on this.
