The Civil 20 (C20) Summit
The Civil 20 (C20) Summit is an official engagement group of the G20, which brings together civil society organizations from around the world to discuss and develop policy recommendations on key global issues. The 2023 C20 Summit is being held in Jaipur, India from July 29-31, 2023.
The theme of the 2023 C20 Summit is “Building Back Better: Civil Society’s Agenda for Inclusive and Sustainable Recovery.”
The summit will focus on a number of key issues
- Climate change and environmental sustainability
- Gender equality and women’s empowerment
- Social inclusion and poverty reduction
- Good governance and anti-corruption
- Advancing human rights
The 2023 C20 Summit is expected to be attended by over 1,000 representatives from civil society organizations from around the world. The summit will provide a platform for these organizations to share their views and recommendations on key global issues with the G20 leaders.
