TESAT is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1991. The organization’s mission is to “empower individuals and communities through education and service.” TESAT’s work focuses on three main areas: education, healthcare, and community development. The organization has a number of programs and initiatives, including:

    * Scholarships for students from low-income families

    * Health education and awareness programs

    * Community development projects, such as building schools and providing clean water

* TESAT is headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.

* The organization has a team of over 100 employees and volunteers.

TESAT is a registered trust under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Act, 1955. The trust is governed by a board of trustees, which is responsible for the overall management of the organization.

TESAT is a well-respected organization in Kerala. The organization has received a number of awards and recognitions for its work, including the following:

* The Kerala State Literacy Award in 2002

* The National Award for the Best NGO in the field of Education in 2004

* The Mother Teresa Award for Social Service in 2006
