UPPCS Prelims 2024 Postponed

UP PCS exam as we all know was scheduled to be held on 27 October, but now such news is coming that this exam is almost certain that it will be postponed i.e. this exam will not be held on 27 October now.

UP PCS preliminary exam was to be held once before on 17 March 2024, but when the matter of rigging or leak of question paper in the RO/ARO exam came to light, this exam was not conducted on 17 March 2024 and then its date was fixed on 27 October. At that time the government had said that the upcoming preliminary examination will be conducted only in government institutions and government schools, these examinations will not be conducted in private institutions and private schools, the reason for this was that the examination can be conducted in a more sure and honest manner.

The problem in the preliminary examination to be held on 27th October is that due to the large number of candidates, the commission is talking about conducting the examination in two days, but there are many problems in conducting the examination in two days. Candidates are opposing this because in two days there will be more chances of the question paper being easy or difficult and due to which there will be inconvenience in normalization. Students have requested that even if this examination is postponed now, it should be conducted on a single day.

Another reason for postponing the examination is that on 26th, government schools are not available in Uttar Pradesh, the number of candidates is high, so the commission has demanded from the government that it will take us some time to make arrangements, so why not conduct this examination on 8th December. The proposal to postpone the date of the examination has been given to the government by the Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha Public Service Commission, that due to lack of arrangements and non-availability of schools, this examination should be conducted in the month of December.

You people should assume that the examination will not be held on 27th October now. This exam is definitely going to be held in the month of December i.e. on 8th December or 15th December, its official notification will come soon.

Now the question arises that the preliminary examination of RO / ARO is also proposed on 22nd December, if the PCS exam 2024 is extended then it is certain that the RO / ARO exam will also be postponed.

The date of the preliminary examination 2024 is going to be announced very soon, the date will be given by the commission and it is almost certain that this exam will definitely be held in the first week or second week of December.

Our suggestion to you is that it doesn’t matter whether the exam is one month big or two months big, you guys should continue your preparation, if the exam date is extended then assume that you have got more time to study, you can revise that, it may be a little better for you but for now you should assume that the date of your preliminary exam is 27th October only, keep studying with this speed, with this hard work, with this rule, even if the date is extended then it is a good thing, you will get some more time. I want to make it clear to you that the exam is going to be postponed and this exam will be held in the first week or second week of December and it is also certain that the preliminary exam of RO/ARO which was to be held on 22nd December will also be postponed.
