1.Bhoomi Samman

2.Exercise NOMADIC ELEPHANT-23

Exercise NOMADIC ELEPHANT-23 is a joint military exercise between India and Mongolia that is being held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from July 17 to 31, 2023. This is the 15th edition of the exercise, which is held alternately in India and Mongolia.

The objective of the exercise is to enhance the interoperability of the two armies and to share best practices in counter-terrorism operations in mountainous terrain under United Nations mandate. The Indian Army contingent participating in the exercise comprises of 43 personnel from the JAMMU AND KASHMIR LIGHT INFANTRY Regiment. The Mongolian Armed Forces contingent is led by Colonel Tsogbadrakh Tsagaan, the commander of the 084th Special Operations Brigade.

The exercise is being conducted under the framework of the India-Mongolia Defence Cooperation Agreement, which was signed in 2003. The agreement provides for the two countries to hold regular joint military exercises and to share military equipment and technology.

4.Pakkasuran Malai

Pakkasuran Malai (English: Droog Fort) is a hill located in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu, India. It is the highest peak in the district, with an elevation of 1,950 metres (6,398 feet). The hill is named after Pakkasuran, a demon who was killed by Lord Vishnu.

Pakkasuran Malai is a popular tourist destination. The hill offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, forests, and valleys. There are also a number of temples and shrines located on the hill.

The best time to visit Pakkasuran Malai is during the spring (February-March) and autumn (September-October) months. The weather is mild during these months, and there is less rain.
