Suryamal Misharan

Suryamal Misharan was a Rajasthani poet and historian. He was born in a village in the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan. He was a member of the Charan caste, which is a caste of bards and storytellers.

Misharan was a prolific writer and wrote in a variety of genres, including poetry, drama, and history. He is best known for his historical work, Vansh Bhaskar, which is a history of the Bundi kingdom. He also wrote a number of poems and dramas, which are often set in the context of Rajasthani folklore and mythology.

Misharan was a nationalist and his work often expressed his love for his country and his people. He was also a strong advocate for the rights of the Charan caste.

Misharan died in 1868 at the age of 53. He is considered to be one of the most important figures in Rajasthani literature and his work continues to be read and enjoyed by people all over the world.
